Peppathiyil farm is an open book of soil and water conservation in a slopy land of5 acres, family run organic farm, located in the mind blowing atmosphere at the basement of the iconic “Medappara” of poovaranthode, at a distance of 47 kms from Calicut.
The spectacular views of water flowing Medappara during rainy season, is a unique and eye catching experience.
We are tradition agriculture farmers and our farm was established in 1974.
WHAT TO EXPLORE
• Cultivation:
Our main crops are nutmeg, coffee, black pepper, and different varieties of fruits. A golden variety of Avocado is the star of this garden.
• Activities:
Hiking through plantation, trekking to Medappara base camp, walking to water streams and bird watching and meditation.
• Nursery:
Wemade available variety of fruits like Mangosteen, Avocado, Lemon, and plants like Nutmeg, Coffee, and Jackfruit.
• Climate:
We can enjoy the pleasant climate throughout the year.
We prepare and serve ethnic food items. Visitors can enjoy the traditional touch of food.
